  • Add all the other ingredients, except for lime juice, along with 3 cups of chicken stock into the pot.
  • Simmer!!! Simmer the soup for up to 30 more minutes until the chicken is well cooked. You don’t want uncooked pieces of chicken in your soup. That would ruin the broth.
  • Now it’s time to add lime juice as the ending ingredient. After adding it, your meal is all ready to serve, and you can do it with a little cilantro and avocado to enhance its taste and looks.

Tips For Making Mexican Green Chili Chicken Soup Great

This dish may be great, but you can make it even more amazing by just following these tricks. First, don’t go for regular zip locks to freeze it. Rather go for freezer-safe bags to ensure that your dish is well freezer and is ready to use even after three months.

Don’t serve it plain; serve it with a bit of dressing in cilantro and avocado to make it even more mesmerizing and mouthwatering.

Use only 1 cup of stock while freezing and even reheating in a crockpot. This will ensure the dish tastes the same even after a long time. Sometimes you may not get the ingredients, so freezing might be advantageous for you but freezing and reheating it right is also required.

Last but not least, use homemade salsa Verde instead of the market to ensure a rich taste along with homemade freshness. The dish holds better when homemade, even the sauces.

Alternative Recipes

Green Chili Chicken Soup is the best, but with noodles in it, it undoubtedly is better. That’s why the Chinese do it !!!

The basic ingredient remains the same, with noodles being an addition to it. Also, along with the cutting of Salsa Verde from the recipe, oregano is here to take place. The procedure is quite the exact with the addition of boiled noodles in the end, and also, this recipe requires finer shredding of the chicken pieces, unlike the Mexican one.

While you have it the Chinese way or the Mexican way, both the recipes are sure to end you up in an amazing world of taste along with health as green chili is known to boost up the vitamin C intake, which is the cause for its remedial effects on cold and sinus.
