Instructions
Add the water, sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon juice to a large pot. Heat on medium heat.
When it starts boiling, reduce the heat to let it simmer until it thickens.
Cut the guavas in halves and remove the seeds.
Add the guavas when the syrup is thick and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
Cover and let it cool.
