Indian-Chinese Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ½-3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic finely chopped
  • 1 ½ tbsp celery finely chopped
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp green pepper chopped
  • ¼ cup carrot cubes
  • ¼ cup green peas
  • tsp black pepper
  • A pinch of white pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ white vinegar
  • salt, to taste

Instructions

  • In a wok, heat sesame oil on medium-high flame.
  • Add the ginger, garlic, green chili, and celery.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add carrot, pepper, and green peas. Saute for a few seconds but keep them crunchy.
  • Add salt, soy sauce, black pepper, white pepper powder, and mix well.
  • Add the cooked rice and mix everything well.
  • Add the vinegar and stir.
  • Top with spring onion green and serve.
