Add the flour, sesame seeds, cracked wheat, turmeric, beet powder, garlic powder, and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
In a small bowl, mix water and oil.
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly. Knead any remaining bits into the dough by hand.
Divide the dough in half and flatten each portion into 1-inch thick squares.
Wrap each square in plastic and let them sit in the fridge for 30 minutes. This allows the dough to get firm before rolling.
Once the dough has chilled, heat the oven to 350°F.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/8-inch thickness and cut it into small rectangles (around 1/4-inch by 3/4-inch) using a knife or pizza wheel. Alternatively, you can roll and cut the dough according to your desired shape but make sure the size is uniform is to achieve even baking.
Roll each piece between your palms to form think sticks (or leave the pieces as they are) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes, then flip the pieces on the other side so that the bottoms don't brown.
Continue baking for 5 to 10 minutes until the sticks are crisp but not brown.
Remove the sticks from the oven and let them cool entirely. Store in an airtight container.
