Cream the butter the add te flour, cayenne, salt, and oregano.
Combine until the butter is completely blended into the flour mixture. You can do this in the food processor using the blade attachment.
Blend in the egg and knead the dough by hand or process until the mixture looks like cookie dough.
Add the parmesan cheese and combine well.
Divide the dough into quarters then divide each quarter into halves.
Roll out to make finger-thick rods about 8 inches long.
Sprinkle the surface with sesame seeds.
Divide each rod into 6 pieces making a dozen pieces from each quarter of dough.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400°F for 12 to 15 min until the sticks turn pale golden.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
