Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp coconut extract
  • 4 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 cups finely chopped guava
  • 2 tbsp roasted coconut/coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix the cream, butter, and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add the vanilla and coconut extracts.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture while using the mixer at low speed.
  • Add the guava pieces.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking sheet and bake for an hour, or until the dough is fully cooked.
  • Let it cool.
  • Mix some sugar with heavy cream until the consistency of glaze is appropriate and add on top. Sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes.
