Summer is right around the corner. Have you satisfied your delicious milkshake cravings yet?

Milkshakes are now familiar to almost everyone, vegans and non-vegans alike. New milkshake flavors are now available since people’s taste preferences have changed over time, leading to fresh milkshake flavors.

A vegan milkshake is becoming increasingly popular because of the growing number of vegans. A vegan diet is always beneficial to one’s well-being since you’ll be cutting off dairy and animal products. Adding some frozen shredded coconut and fruits to your home-cooked meals is also a great way to spruce things up, especially in your milkshake.

So you might wonder, is it possible to create a dairy-free milkshake? The answer is yes, and I’ll show you how!

What Is In A Vegan Milkshake

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy an excellent, nutritious vegan milkshake. You can enjoy it on a hot summer day or when you’re in the mood for some sugary gratification. But what is in vegan milkshake that makes it creamy, flavorful, and effortless to prepare?

Vegan milkshakes are dairy-free and made up mostly of fruits like cherries, mangoes, apples, oranges, strawberries, blueberry, raspberry, and bananas. It also uses soy milk or coconut milk and other plant milk like cashew milk, almond milk, or oak milk as alternatives.

When I make my milkshake, I usually combine a foundation of almond milk, melted dark vegan chocolate, and dates to create a milkshake-like flavor and to achieve the desired thick and creamy consistency. I also try to mix flavors of fruits like mango and banana, or strawberry and banana!

Milkshakes are the best way to cool down on a hot summer day. Besides that, you can now make a vegan milkshake, which makes it even better! But you might ask, how do we make a vegan milkshake?

Vegan milkshakes are gaining popularity among individuals who want to eliminate animal products in their diet while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle through plant-based diets. I have created many vegan milkshake recipes before, so you’ve come to the right spot if you’re seeking a dairy-free smoothie alternative. It’s easy to prepare and goes well with every meal of the day.

But, let me ask you – have you ever thought of preparing a vegan milkshake in your home? If yes, I have some good news: it’s possible!

Making your vegan milkshake at home has a lot of benefits for you. It saves you money rather than buying one at a restaurant, and you can create as many shakes as you want to enjoy over the summer if you buy your ingredients. Also, you can customize your flavors and add different fruits like strawberries or raspberries to make it exactly as you want it. You may also add peanut butter or flaxseed oil if you’d like!

You have more control over the ingredients, texture, and flavors when you make it yourself. And if you want to try it now in your kitchen, here are some tips and recipes I can give you.

Your smoothie will be even more nutrient-dense if you use healthy ingredients like chia seeds, hemp seeds, and fresh fruits like berries, cherries, bananas, etc. I suggest using almond, soy, or coconut milk to make your vegan milkshakes rich and creamy. Even though they have a distinct flavor from conventional dairy milk, they are suitable for a milkshake foundation.

Don’t forget your ice cubes and fresh fruits, and the optional ingredient is vanilla essence because they make your milkshake yummier. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until they are entirely smooth, and you may serve them right away with straws in glasses.

A tip I can give you if you want your vegan milkshake to have that thick and creamy texture is to add some bananas and honey to the blender. I usually put two bananas on when making my vegan milkshake because I also use them to sweeten it up!

You may also add vegan ice cream flavors like vanilla or chocolate to make your shake creamier and more flavorful. See? Making a vegan milkshake allows you to explore various flavors and textures.

How To Make A Vegan Chocolate Milkshake

Now that you know how to make a vegan milkshake, do you want to spice things up and maybe try making a vegan chocolate milkshake?

Non-dairy milkshakes come in various flavors and textures, making it tough to pick a favorite. However, I think it’s safe to say that vegan chocolate milkshakes are one of the famous vegan milkshakes. This chocolate milkshake is my favorite, so I always make it to go with my meals, especially when summer is fast approaching.

Making chocolate milkshakes does not use dairy products, as most people think. Instead, we use chocolate syrup and water mixture, which is easy to make, as there are less than five ingredients or components total needed, including the ice.

Choosing your vegan milk is one thing to consider carefully. Different vegan milk also means various types of texture and flavor. I prefer to use unsweetened vanilla almond milk paired with chocolate ice cream and candy bar toppings because it makes the milkshake less heavy yet flavorful. You can also use soy milk if you are not fond of almond milk.

To upgrade my vegan chocolate milkshake, I also love to use chocolate ice cream rather than chocolate syrup to achieve the desired flavor. There are also times when I use chocolate icing instead of when I feel extra productive.

It is usually best to be mindful of the number of sugars and sweeteners you put in your vegan smoothie if you are trying to control your calorie intake. You may also try to make your vegan milkshake healthier by adding some vegan dark chocolate sprinkles or fresh fruits on top to counterbalance the sweetness and rich flavor of the milk you used.

Vegan milkshakes are easy to make because they do not need many ingredients and take less than 10 minutes. It can also be a good deal for some extra income or a small business, especially this summer season when more and more people have transitioned into a plant-based diet but still want to enjoy a healthy and delicious smoothie. With the recipes I have shared with you, I hope you’ll start making vegan milkshakes all the time now that you know how to create one.
