No one wants to eat spoiled food, and no one wants their food to go bad before they have a chance to eat it. Potatoes tend to last for a long time, but how long do potatoes last in the fridge? Is it days or weeks? Does storing them in the fridge help them to last longer or does it shorten their shelf life?
I want to share the shelf life of potatoes with you so that you know how long to expect them to last in the fridge. That way, you can plan out when to use them and not be surprised that they went bad if you left them in there too long.

- Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and let them cool slightly. While they're still warm, add them to the bowl with the dressing and stir until the potatoes are well coated.

How Long Do Peeled Potatoes Last in the Fridge?
Once you peel potatoes, they don’t have much time left for you to use them. You should cook them up the same day, because they probably won’t last another 24 hours before they start to spoil slightly. How long do cooked sweet potatoes last in the fridge? They will be good for about 3-5 days, just like cooked white potatoes or red potatoes. You should keep them in an airtight container that is made for fridge storage, though.
